We are thrilled to present the first physical release by Noone. An artist who is just focused on his music, giving no information about the person behind the moniker Noone. Trying to deflect attetion away from the person behind the music, the person gets more interesting. But, lets say Noone is just no one.
After self-releasing a couple of digital albums, Noone came up with an idea, which we felt in love with. Inspired by the short Lewis Carroll poem “How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail” Noone created a dark soundjourney, expressing his feelings about this piece out of the “Alice in Wonderland” world. It´s an one hour long track, which evolves from ambient to a kind of instrumental audio drama. You need to take time for this kind of music. It´s not just listening to ambient, this is an one hour long soundtrack for your imagination. You can discover minimal and subtle melodies and themes, indiscreet beats, strange noises, toy sounds and much more. It´s a real journey for your ears and your imagination.
The album is mastered by Iranian artist Porya Hatami and features guitar sounds by Ashtoreth and additional field recordings by Vladimir Kryuchev.
Strictly limited to 100 copies on CD, housed in a 4panel digisleeve with matt finish and beautiful gatefold inside panels.

Years after “Altar of Drone” thisqietarmy returns to Midira with his new album “Democracy Of Dust”. We are thrilled to present you this masterpiece that documents a very special output by Eric Quach, very oppositional to what you heard before on “Altar of Drone” and other classic tqa releases.
During his residency at the Dissenso Studio in Sao Paolo, while touring with Labirinto, he recorded some tracks using different synthesizers. Back home he added some guitar tracks to the synthesizer recordings and finalized the tracks. The result is an impressive mixture of electronic and drone sounds, refined with ambient layers and subliminal beats.
The album got mastered for vinyl by Brian Wenckebach at Electric Blue Studios in Brooklyn and it takes you on a journey through familiar tqa sounds to some surprisingly electronic tunes with massive walls of sound and beats, that make you wobble while listening. A perfect floating and beating synthiedrone trip.
So get your hands on the console and preorder your copy of this outstanding album by thisquietarmy.
“Democracy Of Dust” comes in an edition of 300 copies on 12inch vinyl with full colour printed labels and a full colour artwork showing Sao Paolo from the bird’s eye view, printed inside-out on the rough side of a 300g cardboard sleeve.
200 copies come in as a regular edition on black vinyl including download code and 100 copies come as a limited edition on transparent blue vinyl, also including a CD with the digital mastered version of the album.

A-Sun Amissa released their debut “Desperate in Her Heavy Sleep” in March 2012. Some days before Gizeh Recordsreleased the album, the band did a small tour through Europe supporting Aidan Baker. The show at Christuskirche Bochum hosted bythepostrock.dewas in many ways a special event. A-Sun Amissa did a solo set, Aidan Baker played an improvised set with Maik Erdas (Kodiak) on Drums and as a special closure A-Sun Amissa played an improvised set with Aidan and Maik.
Now, we want to focus on the A-Sun Amissa set. Imagine three musicians sitting in a hemicycle in front of an altar. Fully focused in playing their instruments, sitting on wooden chairs, letting all sounds melt together, letting the sounds move through the church hall… This set has an ineffable gravity, moving between ambient, modern classic and blues sounds.
