RINGHOF
“Ballad For Heavy Lids” by Ringhof is a very intense piece of ambient drone work, based on electronic sounds with a very warm natural approach. The album title and the tranquil artwork, may mislead you to think, that the album features some easy listening tunes, but what you will hear is contrary to this imagination. The four tracks of the album are massive pulsating compositions, which will take you on an emotional journey.
The album is also a very personal piece of work for Ringhof. Travel restrictions and lockdowns forced the artist to find his inspiration not in visited places but rather to wander within his own thought cabinet.
Limited to 50 tapes, housed in o-cards with matte finish. The tapes come in two colorways (25 petrol / 25 bronze) featuring an onbody print all over side A.
