Houses Of Worship (Eric Quach and Jim Demos) return to Midira with a very special album. Back in 2023 they played a very intense live set at Moving Noises Festival. The set was adapted to the opulent venue – Christuskirche Bochum – with its high ceiling and its special sound characteristics. You can hear the result on “Herkules Schallwelle”, divided into 5 tracks. It´s a perfect blend of the more quiet sounds of thisquietarmy (Eric Quch) and Hellenica (Jim Demos). Floating guitar drones and electronic sounds, sometimes transforming into micro rhythms building up to a smooth crescendo.
“Herkules Schallwelle” comes i a very limited edition of 100 copies. The CD is housed in a gatefold sleeve with matte finish featuring artwork by Eric Quach.

We wanted to immortalize our little European tour and we are using photos of our day off in Kassel because it was a good day at the Bergpark of Wilhelmshöhe. Basically the Moving Noises set is the culmination of all the live sets we played during the tour, and it was the last and best performance of the tour. The trees represent a good analogy of things pointing high in the sky, much like the grandiosity of the church.
