VARIOUS ARTISTS
The year 2024 is nearly over, so it´s time to take a look back. We released eight albums and here is a selection for you.
We are very happy that we could work on some albums this year, to bring you new music from all over the world.
We started with an old friend from Denmark: øjeRum and his epic album “Everything Wounded Will Flow” (by the way, we have three copies left in our store).
New to the family: Javier Lara from Mexico brought us some warm electronic sounds while Katharina Schmidt and Fra Zedde perpetuated their impressions from the pandemic time into timeless drones and ambient soundscapes. Finally we released the debut album “Trains” by Aya Lion from Israel.
We are very proud of our collaboration albums, that merged ambient and drone with experimental and jazzy sounds: Starting with thisquietarmy & Tom Malmendier who did a 40minutes heavy drone free jazz explosion, over to Monika Bugajny & Gareth Davis with their massive clarinet drone mass and Farida Amadou & Pavel Tchikov exploring the experimental sounds of bass and guitar drones.
The compilation also features one unreleased remix by thisquietarmy, who reworked the “Cime” tracks into a very special soundjourney.
The album is as always on pay what you want basis.
