MATTEO UGGERI
Matteo Uggeri, active since the early 90’s, has released many records in collaboration with other artists like Starlight Assembly (with Dominic Appleton of Breathless and This Mortal Coil) or Open to the Sea, with whom we released „Another Year Is Over, Let´s Wait For Springtime“ back in 2019.
His solo records are less than a handful, so we are happy to share with you his new solo work “My Happiest Consumption”. Matteo Uggeri created this album by working mostly with toy organ, field recordings and samples, in a strict dialogue with the cello of Andrea Serrapiglio and the trumpet (and electronics) of Alessandro Sesana.
The result is a 40minutes ambient, modern classical drone piece, sliced into four sections, aimed at exploring the uplifting chaos and joyous exhaustion of raising children. A very personal piece of work. That intimacy is also shown in the artwork. All in all, you are invited to be part of a very personal experience.
We are very happy to share this work with you, because friendship and family are important things in life, so it´s a good thing to have a soundtrack for such an important certainty.
Limited to 200 copies, the CD comes in a four panel digisleeve with matte finish, featuring pictures by Uggeris family.
